Are you ready to hear my cinematic orchestral music composition ??
it’s “BLOOD ON MY KEYS” on SoundCloud!
As I was composing the main melody on piano I was picturing me playing it in the middle of a battle that was about to finish for good. so, I felt like I had Blood on my Keys wich is the name of this composition.
Piano doesn’t sound obvious in the music because of the complexity of instruments, but if you listen carefully, its always playing at the back. The flute you hear at the first beginning is the only instrument i played and recorded it live. All other instruments sounds are electronic, composed on Garageband. This Flute is in fact an Arabic flute called “Nay”, I’ll be talking about it in the next post..
This was my third Composition but my first one of Cinematic Orchestral genre. 2 years ago, I got inspired by an epic fantasy-adventure movie named “Eragon” as i remember. Here’s a pic of the Boy named Eragon:
Eragon, a Dragon Rider, is swept into a world of magic and power, discovering that he alone has the power to save or destroy an Empire. I suppose i was too caught in the movie dragon battles, and wanted to compose music that reflects the rise of an empire after its destruction.
Last Year I was in a village in south France. I went into a trip with some friends to a very high mountain where I could see the village so tiny from above. The views were awesome. I was standing on a very high place surrounded by Green, so i felt like flying. I remembered this movie Eragon and its beautiful villages scenes. Here’s a pic of the view from above the mountain in France, and an image from google of a scene from the movie.
I Hope you enjoy the music! 🙂
